Keep Hope Alive

Aug 20, 2013

An Achievable Dream is sad to announce the sudden passing of our organization’s founder and CEO, Walter Segaloff, on Sunday, August 18. Our deep condolences go out to his family, but so many others will mourn his loss, including the thousands of children who received a high-quality education thanks to Walter’s incredible energy and dedication.

No words can adequately express the admiration of the employees or board members who worked closely with Walter since 1992 to create An Achievable Dream and see it grow and prosper for the benefit of young people in Newport News. We will remember Walter with fondness and admiration, while focusing on the future with a renewed dedication to see his vision continue in Newport News and become reality in Virginia Beach.

As Walter would say “Keep Hope Alive.”
