During their annual membership meeting yesterday, the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance awarded Walter Segaloff and the Run for the Dream the Corporate Citizen Award. Ann Segaloff accepted the award from John Hollowell, the outgoing chairman of the Alliance.
Next year, 360 children in Virginia Beach will be expected to learn etiquette, to speak clearly and respectfully, to make healthy decisions and establish a work ethic. They’ll be taught skills they’ll need to succeed in life while they’re learning math and English and science and history. The Virginia Press Association has named Walter Segaloff, the CEO and Founder of An Achievable Dream, as its Virginian of the Year for 2013.
